When you create an account with Freeform UI, we collect your name and email address. This information is used to identify you and manage your purchases.

When you place an order for a template, we record the order details, including the template purchased, the price paid, and the transaction reference from our payment processor (Polar).

When you browse the Freeform UI marketplace, we collect basic usage analytics such as pages visited, device type, and referrer information. This helps us understand how visitors use the marketplace and identify areas for improvement.

We do not collect sensitive personal information such as government IDs, financial account numbers, or biometric data.

How we use your information

Your account information is used to identify you within the Freeform UI marketplace, protect your purchases, and grant access to templates you have purchased.

Your email address is used for account verification, order confirmations, and template download notifications. We will not use your email for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.

Usage analytics help us maintain and improve the marketplace experience, fix technical issues, and understand which templates are most popular.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising profiling or targeted advertising.

Payments

All payments are processed securely by Polar, our payment provider. Freeform UI never sees or stores your full card details — that information remains with Polar.

We store payment status and transaction references solely to record your order history and verify your entitlements to downloaded templates.

If a payment fails or is disputed, we may use the stored transaction information to investigate and resolve the issue.

Cookies and sessions

We use session cookies to keep you signed in to your Freeform UI account and to secure your session. These cookies are essential for the marketplace to function properly.

Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser or sign out. We do not use persistent tracking cookies.

You can control cookie settings through your browser, but disabling cookies may prevent you from staying signed in or accessing purchased templates.

Data retention

We retain account and order records for as long as your account is active, or as long as required for legal, tax, and refund purposes.

Download entitlements are retained as long as your account remains active, allowing you to re-download templates you have purchased.

If you close your account, we will retain order records for the period required by applicable law. You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting support.

Sharing your data

We do not share your personal information with third parties except as necessary to process payments (through Polar), send transactional emails, or comply with legal obligations.

Template files you download are for your personal use only. We do not have access to how you use templates after download, nor do we track usage of downloaded templates.

Your rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request corrections, or ask us to delete your account and associated data.

We will respond to valid requests within a reasonable timeframe and will not charge you for exercising your rights.
